Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and a quarter Spanish they are the daughters of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish and English ancestral roots. Her mother is of Spanish origin. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria neighborhood in London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English in hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's plays. She left at the age of 16 to go to school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy is a child actor and was sure she would eventually become one. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
