Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and performer famous for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a family that has had numerous issues. Sheryl spent the majority of her life caring for her sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl states that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father over getting too close. When she graduated from college Sheryl joined the military. Her passions were in comedy. She was the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career started in 1992, as a performer for the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host in the year 2000 on Oh Drama! She is currently a guest co-host for the talk talk show from 2011. She has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series like Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
